Clean Beauty Award Finalist!

I’m so very thrilled to announce that my Moisturizing Hand Cleanser is a finalist for CertClean’s 5th Annual Clean Beauty Awards. What, you ask, are the Clean Beauty Awards? CertClean is North America’s leading certification for safe beatify and personal care products. They help shoppers discover products that are formulated without the use of potentially harmful ingredients such as parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfates, and formaldehyde releasing agents (check out the toxic ten). Such ingredients have been shown to potentially affect our hormonal, reproductive, and neurological systems…and yet they are still used in the VAST MAJORITY of beauty and personal care products. Enter the Clean Beauty Awards. They help identify the best of the best! The 2020 Awards featured a record total of 371 submissions from 16 countries, and the panel of green beauty judges selected 123 finalists in a range of categories to highlight the ‘absolute best-performing products in the clean beauty industry today’. (Read more here). I submitted my Moisturizing Hand Cleanser and was so happy to see it make the Top 10 List in the Body Wash category, along with some other pretty amazing products (See them here). I am so passionate about safe, clean beauty. My products have SUCH a pure, minimal ingredient list. This hand cleanser has only FIVE ingredients. FIVE! And one of those is water. OK, add essential oils for the scented varieties (lavender mint, or lime, mmmm!), but we’re still at a maximum of seven ingredients. But in addition to being SAFE, it’s EFFECTIVE. And it’s so so nice to get the recognition for that. Ethanol to kills the germs (especially as we are in the midst of flu season) and aloe to moisturize. Delicately scented if that’s what you’re into, unscented if you’re not. Vegan, cruelty free, and made in small batches in Canada. Hope you try it out and love it as I do. The travel-size version will find its way into your purse, your car, your first aid kit, your desk drawer…
